For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to support kidney research. I’ve chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit helps and will bring us closer to better treatments and, hopefully one day, a cure.

Kidney disease is often called a silent killer. Millions of people around the world live with it, and many don’t realize they are affected until the disease has progressed. Despite this, there is still no cure.

Millions of people die from kidney disease every year, even though we all have two kidneys and can live with just one there are still too few donors. For my birthday, I’d love to encourage more people to sign up as kidney donors and to support kidney research.

Miljontals människor dör varje år av njursjukdomar, trots att vi alla har två njurar och kan leva med bara en är det fortfarande för få njurdonatorer. På min födelsedag vill jag uppmuntra fler att registrera sig som njurdonatorer och att stödja forskning om njursjukdomar.
